Do You Have a Plan For Your Life?

Most people live with a dream, or a goal.  But they do nothing about it.  Without a plan, you are wishing things to happen, wanting things to happen. But not doing anything about it. You need to make  them happen, and the only way to do that is to have a plan.  Write down your goal or goals, then write down what it will take to get there. Take it step by step.  Start out with number (1) on your list. Then go to the next and the next. Only you can make it happen.

Do you want to be healthier, or do you want to change your career?  Don’t sit on the sidelines and wish your life away.  Don’t depend on other people to get you there.  If you are waiting for someday, make that someday now.  It’s all up to you.

The way I became a Life and Health Coach was a journey that I learned from.  I had known for a long time I wanted to help people.  It was in me and I didn’t know exactly how to do it. I sat back and watched as other people were living my dream.  I finally listened to my inner voice and decided to go for it.  I came up with excuses like “I shouldn’t spend the money for schooling”, and “I have no support at home”.  I finally put my mind to it, found out exactly what I needed to do, and did it. I wrote down my goals and a plan to get there, and then followed it. I didn’t tell anyone what I was doing or what my plan was. I was being accountable for me. Guess what?  I did it!  And within a couple of years, well, here I am.

You need to be accountable for yourself and your own goals.  Being accountable is a big thing for people.  They find it very hard.  You know what it’s like…You say you are going to go to the gym 4 days a week.  You start off great and then after a few weeks, excuse after excuse comes up.  Now you are going twice a week…then once a week.  Finally you give up because “what’s once a week going to do?”  If you had someone to help you be accountable for what you really want, you could reach your goal.  But you have to take that first step.
